Dimitris co-founded the company in 2002 and has served as the Managing Director ever since. Previously, he held senior positions at VoiceRite and IBM UK, specialising sharply on R&D for voice solutions. Through his employment at IBM, Dimitris developed a highly specialized know-how on IBMs voice technology portfolio and established long-term working relationships with key members of the global IBM team. He comes with considerable experience in the speech domain, combined with proven managerial skills. . Dimitris holds a B.Eng and M.Sc in Communications and Signal Processing from Imperial College in London, and brings unique technical know-how and management experience to Omilia.

Pelias co-founded the company in 2002 and has served as the Commercial Director ever since. Prior to Omilia, Pelias was operating his own business providing specialised accountancy software solutions to the general SMB segment of the Greek market. In the 10 years of his operation, Pelias had formed valuable customer relationships based on trust and quality of service, and had established his name in the market through relationships with key members of the Greek business world. Pelias studied Mechanical Engineering at Hatfield Polytechnic and brings commercial know-how and business networking to Omilia.
